The series MONOGRAPHS OF SYSTEM DEPENDABILITY publishes new developments and advances in the various areas of reliability and functional analysis of technical systems. Its intention is to present problems of theory, application, design and testing methods of system dependability as they are encountered in the fields of engineering, computer science, human-systems coincidence, service, transport and data networks.

The series has an interdisciplinary character and it should create a platform for presentation of engineering achievements in desining, constructing and maintenance of specialized units, systems and networks in which the dependability (reliability, security, safety and maintainability) is the crucial aspect of operation.
